Behind Valoterna are two people with a shared ambition: to make gemstones accessible as they deserve – transparently, expertly, and personally. Maria Stadler is an internationally accredited gemologist, regularly traveling to the mines and markets of the world. Patrick-Noël Gregor brings his background from the private equity sector: valuation, structure, and market knowledge that goes far beyond traditional gemstone trading.

We focus on natural, untreated, high-quality colored gemstones. We select each gemstone using the four-eyes principle, thus taking care of the pre-selection and your risk: you can trust that you are getting the best. Yes, absolutely. We want to get to know you and your wishes. Only then will you calmly decide if and how we proceed. And you should also know who you're talking to.
The initial meeting is scheduled for 15 minutes. For a detailed consultation, we estimate about 30 to 60 minutes. This, too, is free of charge. We take the time to understand your situation and wishes and to give you an insight into our world.
Our focus is on natural, untreated, high-quality colored gemstones and exceptional rarities – personally selected and internationally certified. Our philosophy: We only sell gemstones that we would personally choose for ourselves. Maria Stadler is an accredited gemologist, travels to the countries of origin, and sources internationally. She knows her craft. Additionally, upon request, we offer transactions through an escrow account.
Yes, you'll find a curated selection in our online shop. However, for the most beautiful and rarest stones, we still recommend a personal consultation.
Valoterna specializes in natural, untreated, high-quality colored gemstones that are hand-selected and certified by international testing bodies. Each gemstone is inspected multiple times by independent, recognized gemological laboratories and accompanied by a report documenting all relevant characteristics. You can also verify this yourself. Upon request, the gemstones can be delivered sealed.
