Our story

The beauty of Carinthia and the sober numbers

Maria Stadler hails from the garnet town of Radenthein, at the foot of the Nockberge Mountains in southern Austria. Growing up in a renowned restaurant that has existed for generations, she learned the values ​​of hospitality and quality from an early age.

After working in traditional marketing and sales, Patrick-Noël Gregor quickly realized that the ordinary wasn't exciting, so he switched to private equity. There, it's generally all about dry numbers, data, and facts. This motivated him to make the impossible possible, to think beyond the bounds, and to find new paths.

Over the past few years, they have managed and developed Austrian companies – initially separately and then together. With the establishment of the Fine Gem Fund in Liechtenstein, they have succeeded in packaging the world's most beautiful real asset into a financial product.

At the beginning of 2024, they decided to pool their expertise and jointly found a company that would bring gemstones closer to customers at home and abroad in line with their values ​​– Valoterna GmbH was born.
