Kunzite

Kunzite is a pink gemstone prized for its exceptional transparency and delicate to intense violet-pink hues. The color originates from manganese within the crystal lattice of the mineral spodumene. Particularly high-quality, uniformly colored specimens in larger sizes are relatively rare. Significant deposits are found in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Brazil, and Madagascar, with Afghan kunzite being especially renowned for its intense color. Top-quality kunzite is gaining increasing importance in the high-end jewelry market.
